No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked Villars (12-7) beat at home 9th ranked CNBS (4-15) 78-71. Villars forced 21 CNBS turnovers and had a 17-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. CNBS was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Power forward Ludovic De Gottrau (194-1991) stepped up and scored 18 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals for the winners and Kosovan point guard Etrit Dibrani (180-1996) chipped in 18 points and 7 assists. The best for the losing side was North Macedonian guard Florian Zili (180-2004) with 18 points and 7 assists and guard Nilan Rungasamy (177-2005) scored 11 points and 5 assists. Villars moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Wallabies. CNBS lost fourth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the ninth position with 15 games lost. Villars will play against league's second-placed Morges-Saint-Prex on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
