Regular Season Round 25: Sopron KC - Kaposvari 92-94

The most exciting game of round 25 in the A Division took place in Sopron. This derby game ended with only two-point home defeat of 3rd placed Sopron KC (15-10) to seventh ranked Kaposvari (13-12) 94-92 on Saturday evening. Kaposvari made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. Americans were the main players on the court. Xavier Ford (203-1993, college: Buffalo) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 29 points and 11 rebounds for the winners and guard TJ Price (193-1993, college: WKU, agency: Slash Sports) chipped in 32 points. At the losing side guard Teyvon Myers (188-1994, college: WVU) responded with 24 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists and power forward EJ Montgomery (208-1999, college: Kentucky) scored 22 points and 8 rebounds (perfect from the field making all eleven shots !!!). Kaposvari moved-up to sixth place, which they share with DEAC. Sopron KC lost third consecutive game. They keep the third position with ten games lost. They share it with Kormend. Kaposvari is looking forward to face higher ranked Kormend (#4) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Sopron KC will play against ZTE KK in Zalaegerszeg and is hoping to win this game.
