OSE Lions used a home court advantage and smashed the opponent from Kecskemet 84-62 on Saturday night. OSE Lions outrebounded Duna Aszfalt 45-33 including 33 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Duna Aszfalt's players. American guard Omar Calhoun (198-1993, college: UConn) notched 24 points and 6 rebounds to lead the effort and the other American import guard Brandon Parrish (198-1994, college: TCU) supported him with 19 points and 5 rebounds. Four OSE Lions players scored in double figures. Even 20 points and 5 rebounds by American guard Xavier Pollard (193-1991, college: Kent St.) did not help to save the game for Duna Aszfalt. Serbian swingman Andreja Milutinovic (199-1990, agency: 011 Sports) added 11 points and 7 rebounds for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. OSE Lions will meet Kaposvari on the road in the next round. Duna Aszfalt will play against DEAC and hope to win that game.
