Rather predictable result when second ranked Szedeak (4-2) won against on the road 4th placed Kaposvari (2-3) 96-88 on Saturday. American players dominated also this game. It was an exceptional evening for forward Justin Alston (203-1994, college: Boston U.) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 30 points and 12 rebounds. Guard Tayler Persons (191-1995, college: Ball St.) accounted for 14 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists for the winning side. Szedeak's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Guard TJ Price (193-1993, college: WKU, agency: Slash Sports) came up with 18 points and 6 rebounds and Xavier Ford (203-1993, college: Buffalo) added 14 points and 9 rebounds respectively for Kaposvari in the defeat. Five Szedeak and four Kaposvari players scored in double figures. Szedeak maintains second place with 4-2 record despite having the same number of points like the leader OSE Lions, which they share with 4 other teams. Loser Kaposvari dropped to the third position with three games lost. They share it with Szolnok. Szedeak will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Kaposvari will play against the league's leader OSE Lions in Oraszlany and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
