The most exciting game of round 7 in the A Division took place in Kecskemet. This derby game ended with only two-point home defeat of 3rd placed Duna Aszfalt (3-3) to first ranked OSE Lions (5-1) 80-78 on Saturday evening. Worth to mention a great performance of Slovakian point guard Mario Ihring (192-1998, agency: Octagon Europe) who helped to win the game recording 19 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Slovenian swingman Blaz Mesicek (197-1997, agency: Octagon Europe) contributed with 25 points for the winners. OSE Lions' coach Sebastjan Krasovec used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. American guard Xavier Pollard (193-1991, college: Kent St.) answered with 27 points and 4 assists and Serbian center Rastko Dramicanin (208-1986) added 21 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Duna Aszfalt. OSE Lions have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain first place with 5-1 record. Duna Aszfalt at the other side keeps the third position with three games lost. OSE Lions are looking forward to face Kaposvari (#4) at home in the next round. Duna Aszfalt will play against DEAC in Debrecen and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
