OSE Lions outrebounded Kaposvari 44-27 including a 31-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. 27 personal fouls committed by Kaposvari helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of Slovenian swingman Blaz Mesicek (197-1997, agency: Octagon Europe) who helped to win the game recording 25 points and 6 rebounds and American guard Omar Calhoun (198-1993, college: UConn) who added 21 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. American guard TJ Price (193-1993, college: WKU, agency: Slash Sports) responded with 21 points and 6 assists and his fellow American import forward Wayne Martin (201-1993, college: Tennessee St., agency: Octagon Europe) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds. Five OSE Lions and four Kaposvari players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. OSE Lions have a solid four-game winning streak. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with Sopron KC and Duna Aszfalt. Kaposvari at the other side dropped to the third place with 16 games lost. They share the position with Szedeak. Kaposvari will play next round against strong Duna Aszfalt trying to get back on the winning streak. OSE Lions will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game.
