There was no surprise in Paks where Bp. Honved was defeated by Atomeromu 75-71 on Saturday. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Atomeromu made 22-of-26 free shots (84.6 percent) during the game. The former international power forward Janos Eilingsfeld (198-1991) had a double-double by scoring 18 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and guard Akos Kovacs (183-1988) chipped in 20 points and 5 assists during the contest. Point guard Kristof Simon (187-1994) responded with 16 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) and Bosnian guard Stefan Mijovic (193-1995) scored 19 points. Atomeromu will meet Kaposvari on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Bp. Honved will play against OSE Lions in Oraszlany and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
