Regular Season Round 1: Chevakata - MBA-2 65-42

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of MBA-2 in Vologda on Saturday night. Visitors were rolled over by Chevakata 65-42. Chevakata forced 24 MBA-2 turnovers. Center Ekaterina Terekhova (188-1990) fired 9 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Belarusian guard Anastasiya Sushchyk (160-1997) chipped in 10 points and 5 assists. Center Anastasiia Bobrik (185-2001) produced 8 points and 12 rebounds and Anastasia Bocharova (182-1977) added 12 points respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Chevakata is looking forward to face UMMC Junior in Yekaterinburg in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. MBA-2 will play on the road against Spartak SP in Sankt Petersburg and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
