Another exciting game was between fourth ranked Szombathely and 8th ranked Sopron KC where Szombathely (4-1) beat Sopron KC (3-2) on the road with 18-point difference 81-63. American guard Raymond Cowels III (191-1990, college: Santa Clara) orchestrated the victory by scoring 18 points and 5 rebounds. His fellow American import Matt Tiby (203-1992, college: Milwaukee) contributed with 15 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Four Szombathely players scored in double figures. Canadian guard Yasiin Joseph (186, college: Carleton) answered with 20 points and American forward Jordan Barnett (201-1995, college: Missouri) added 11 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Sopron KC. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Szombathely have a solid series of three victories in a row. Defending champion moved-up to second place, which they share with Duna Aszfalt. Sopron KC at the other side dropped to the fourth position with two games lost. They share it with 3 other teams. Szombathely will play against league's leader Szolnok at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week.
