Regular Season Round 3: Keravnos - E.N. Paralimni 99-70
Date: October 22, 2022
Very expected game when E.N. Paralimni (1-2) was smashed by Keravnos (2-0) in Nicosia 99-70. The game without a history. Keravnos led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 74 of its points in the paint compared to E.N. Paralimni's 44. It was a great evening for international point guard Filippos Tigkas (184-2002) who led his team to a victory scoring 21 points and 4 assists. American Titus Robinson (201-1990, college: Buffalo) helped adding 14 points and 6 rebounds. Keravnos' coach Michalis Kakiouzis felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was American guard Aaron Cook (188-1997, college: Georgia) with 14 points and 6 rebounds and New Zealand center Yuat Alok (211-1997, college: NM State) scored 13 points and 5 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Keravnos will play against AEK Larnaca on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. E.N. Paralimni will play against Apollon (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
