Regular Season Round 6: Dynamo NR - Sparta&K MR 68-71

The biggest surprise of round 6 was guest Sparta&K MR's (3-3) road victory over 7th ranked Dynamo NR (2-4) 71-68 on Wednesday evening. The best player for the winners was the former international Daria Ignatova (180-2000) who had a double-double by scoring 24 points and 13 rebounds. Swingman Anna Kuznetsova (177-2001) chipped in 10 points and 5 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Ashley Beverly-Kelley (168-1993, college: Troy) who recorded 18 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists and Natalya Potemina (185-1988) added 16 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Sparta&K MR have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to sixth place. Dynamo NR at the other side keeps the seventh position with four games lost. They share it with Enisey and Samara. Sparta&K MR are looking forward to face league's leader Dynamo K. in Kursk in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Dynamo NR will play on the road against Nika (#4) in Syktyvkar and is hoping to win this game.
