There was a minor upset when 4th placed Morges-Saint-Prex (3-2) lost at home to sixth ranked GC Zurich (3-2) 69-64 on Saturday. Forward Mario Gull (195-1998) nailed 14 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals for the winning side and Nicolas Hulliger (194-2001) accounted for 13 points. American center Larry Slaughter (203-1992, college: Montevallo) came up with 12 points and 8 rebounds and guard Victor Desponds (180-1998) added 11 points respectively for Morges-Saint-Prex in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. The victory was the third consecutive win for GC Zurich. They moved-up to fifth place, which they share with defeated Morges-Saint-Prex. GC Zurich will meet at home Villars (#11) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Morges-Saint-Prex will play against Baeren (#10) and hope to secure a win.
