Very expected game when 7th ranked TFSE-MTK (2-6) lost to leader Uni Gyor (7-0) in Budapest 64-81 on Sunday. American players dominated the game. It was an exceptional evening for forward Beatrice Mompremier (193, college: Miami, FL) who led the winners and scored 15 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Point guard Aaryn Ellenberg-Wiley (168-1992, college: Oklahoma) accounted for 8 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists for the winning side. Uni Gyor's coach Laszlo Cziczas used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Center Khaalia Hillsman (195-1996, college: Texas A&M) came up with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 12 rebounds and swingman Tyaunna Marshall (175, college: Georgia Tech) added 7 points and 11 rebounds respectively for TFSE-MTK in the defeat. The victory was the seventh consecutive win for Uni Gyor. They maintain second place with 7-0 record behind leader Sopron. TFSE-MTK at the other side dropped to the ninth position with six games lost. Uni Gyor will meet at home bottom-ranked PINKK-Pecsi (#12) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. TFSE-MTK will play against Szekszard and hope to secure a win.
