Regular Season Round 6: UMMC Junior - Dynamo-Farm 67-66

Important game to mention about took place in Yekaterinburg. Fourth ranked UMMC Junior (5-1) saved a 1-point victory at home edging 6th ranked Dynamo-Farm (3-3) 67-66 on Saturday evening. UMMC Junior made 20-of-24 charity shots (83.3 percent) during the game. Swingman Maria Sedykina (176-2004) notched 9 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists to lead the effort and forward Darya Sidorova (176-2001) supported her with 12 points. Even a double-double of 13 points and 11 rebounds by center Kristina Bakaeva (190-2000) did not help to save the game for Dynamo-Farm. Center Ksenia Nesterova (195-1998) added 11 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Dynamo-Farm's coach Andrey Ruzanov tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. UMMC Junior have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Kazanochka and MBA-2. Dynamo-Farm at the other side keeps the sixth position with three games lost. They share it with Sparta&K-2 V and Runa. UMMC Junior will play against league's second-placed Kazanochka on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Dynamo-Farm will play against Dynamo-En.IVA (#9) in Ivanovo and hopes to get back on the winning track.
