An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Krasnodar. Second ranked MBA-2 faced 4th placed Lokomotiv-2. Guests from Moscow (10-1) defeated host Lokomotiv-2 (6-3) 86-71. MBA-2 made 24-of-30 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. They also forced 29 Lokomotiv-2 turnovers. 26 personal fouls committed by Lokomotiv-2 helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was guard Yegor Pokinko (185-2002, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) who scored 16 points and 4 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. MBA-2 have a solid series of three victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader. Lokomotiv-2 at the other side keeps the fourth place with three games lost. MBA-2 will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Lokomotiv-2 will play again at home against the league's leader MBA-2 (#1) and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
