Bottom-ranked Novocherkassk is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their ninth consecutive match to ninth ranked Spartak SP (3-5) 86-54 on Thursday evening. Spartak SP looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The winners were led by forward Tatyana Soloveva (182-1997) who scored that evening 15 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Alexandra Andrushchenko (180-2001) supported her with 20 points. Four Spartak SP players scored in double figures. Even 16 points and 7 rebounds by center Alexandra Plyasova (194-1987) did not help to save the game for Novocherkassk. Guard Darya Sharova (171-2002) added 8 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists for the hosts. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Spartak SP have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Runa. Loser Novocherkassk still closes the standings with nine games lost. Spartak SP will meet at home league's leader Chevakata in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Novocherkassk will play against Stavropol (#11) and looks forward to get finally their first victory.
