Regular Season Round 13: Parma-2 - UNICS-2 76-66

Parma-2 has finally registered their first victory this season after 13 consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat UNICS-2 (9-7) 76-66. Parma-2 brought some defensive toughness making 8 blocks. Guard Grigoriy Tuchkov (183-2003) nailed 17 points and 4 assists (made all of his seven free throws) for the winning side and guard Arseniy Koryakin (194-2004) accounted for 16 points and 4 assists. Five Parma-2 players scored in double figures. Guard Sergey Polstyanov (194-2002) came up with 23 points and power forward Dmitri Vedenev (203-2003) added 8 points and 9 rebounds respectively for UNICS-2 in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Parma-2 maintains tenth place with 1-13 record, which they share with Samara-2. UNICS-2 at the other side dropped to the fifth position with seven games lost. They share it with Khimki-2. Parma-2 will again play against higher ranked UNICS-2 (#5) in Kazan in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. UNICS-2 will have a break next round.
