The game with biggest result difference took place in Limassol. Local Anagennises (6-1) outscored 5th ranked Youth Stars (1-6) 86-23 on Sunday night. The game without a history. Anagennises led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Youth Stars to just 2 points in first quarter and to 9 points in first half. Anagennises held Youth Stars to an opponent 23.3 percent shooting from the field compared to 43.0 percent accuracy of the winners. Anagennises forced 29 Youth Stars turnovers and outrebounded them 52-23 including a 23-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. Anagennises looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 4 passes made by Youth Stars' players. Anagennises' coach Iraklis Pittakas felt very confident using entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Guard Ellada Gavrielidou (165-2004) responded with 10 points and 8 rebounds and Russian guard Valeriya Pokrovskaya (173-1997, college: Emmanuel, GA) scored 2 points and 6 rebounds. Defending champion maintains second position with 6-1 record behind leader AEL. Newly promoted Youth Stars keeps the fifth place with six games lost.
