An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Yekaterinburg. Second ranked UMMC Junior faced one of their biggest challengers MBA-2. Host UMMC Junior (9-2) smashed guests from Moscow (9-3) 85-57. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of MBA-2. UMMC Junior forced 21 MBA-2 turnovers and outrebounded them 45-29 including 18 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Guard Anna Borodina (179-2002) fired a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Forward Darya Sidorova (176-2001) chipped in 14 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Four UMMC Junior players scored in double figures. Forward Kristina Savkovich (184-2003) produced 15 points and 5 assists and center Anastasiia Bobrik (185-2001) added 8 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. UMMC Junior have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 9-2 record behind leader Chevakata. MBA-2 at the other side keeps the third place with three games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
