A very close game took place in Luzern between Neuchatel and Swiss Central. Eighth ranked Neuchatel (4-5) got a very close victory on the road over 11th ranked Swiss Central (1-8). Neuchatel managed to escape with a 3-point win 69-66 on Saturday evening. Neuchatel outrebounded Swiss Central 38-20 including a 25-11 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was Grenadian center Arkim Robertson (208-1994, college: CS Fullerton) who had a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds. American forward Dalan Ancrum (198-1996, college: W.Illinois) chipped in a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds. Neuchatel's coach Mitar Trivunovic used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. At the other side the best for losing team was American swingman Trevion Lamar (196-1999, college: Catawba) who recorded 19 points, 7 assists and 5 steals and the former international guard Joel Fuchs (189-1989) added 14 points respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Neuchatel moved-up to sixth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Swiss Central lost fifth consecutive game.
