Undefeated leader Apoel delivered the seventh consecutive win on Sunday night. This time they beat 8th ranked APOP (2-4) 88-71 in Paphou. It was a very close game until the last quarter, when Apoel's pressure prevailed and they won that period 23-10 extending their advantage to 17 points. The best player for the winners was American forward Travin Thibodeaux (203-1996, college: New Orleans) who had a double-double by scoring 22 points and 12 rebounds. Croatian swingman Davor Konjevic (198-1990, agency: BIG) chipped in 23 points. Four Apoel players scored in double figures.
