VTB-Youth League top team - MBA-2 (17-1) had no problems winning another game on Wednesday. This time they crushed ninth ranked Enisey-2 (5-11) in Krasnoyarsk 82-57. MBA-2 dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Enisey-2's 24. MBA-2 forced 19 Enisey-2 turnovers and outrebounded them 43-31 including 19 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a quality performance for forward Kirill Esipov (195-2002, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) who led the winners and scored 24 points and 7 rebounds. Guard Pasha Ismailov (196-2003) accounted for 9 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side. Swingman Aleksandr Gritsenko (195-2004) came up with 12 points and forward Andrey Doroshevich (197-2003) added 11 points respectively for Enisey-2 in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. MBA-2 have an impressive series of ten victories in a row. They maintain first place with 17-1 record. Enisey-2 lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the ninth position with 11 games lost. MBA-2 will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Enisey-2 will play again against the league's leader MBA-2 (#1) and hope to secure a win.
