Regular Season Round 12: Uralmash - Dinamo V. 67-65

Fifth-ranked Dinamo V. (6-5) was very close to win a game against first ranked Uralmash (11-1) in Yekaterinburg on Friday. Uralmash managed to secure only two-point victory 67-65. However their fans expected much easier game. It was a good game for American Namon Wright (196-1994, college: Colorado) who led his team to a victory with 16 points. Point guard Maksim Kondakov (185-1995) contributed with 14 points for the winners. Wright is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Belarusian forward Alexandr Semenyuk (207-1993) replied with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds and Serbian swingman Mihajlo Bogdanovic (197-1996) added 12 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists in the effort for Dinamo V.Uralmash have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 11-1 record, which they share with Runa Basket. Dinamo V. at the other side dropped to the sixth place with five games lost. Uralmash will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Dinamo V. will play at home against Tambov (#11) and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
