Regular Season Round 11: Villars - CNBS 72-70

The most exciting game of round 11 in the NLB took place in Villars. This derby game ended with only two-point defeat on the road of 6th ranked CNBS (6-5) to eighth ranked Villars (5-6) 72-70 on Friday evening. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of CNBS. Villars forced 27 CNBS turnovers. Senegalese center Mansour Kasse (208-1992) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 19 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 blocks. Kosovan point guard Etrit Dibrani (180-1996) contributed with 20 points and 4 assists for the winners. Villars' coach Eric Bally used entire bench in such tough game. Swingman Liban Nuux (192-2006) answered with 18 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists and forward Andrin Njock (195-2006) added 7 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for CNBS. Villars maintains eighth place with 5-6 record. CNBS at the other side dropped to the fifth position with five games lost. They share it with Acad.Fribourg and Winterthur. Villars are looking forward to face higher ranked Academie Fribourg (#7) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. CNBS will play against the league's second-placed Bernex and will have a slim chance for a victory.
