Rather expected game in Kecskemet where 9th ranked OSE Lions (5-6) were defeated by sixth ranked Duna Aszfalt (7-4) 89-76 on Friday. It was a great evening for American-Dominican center Marques Townes (193-1995, college: Loyola, IL) who led his team to a victory scoring 29 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international center Kemal Karahodzic (210-1989) helped adding 17 points and 7 rebounds. Four Duna Aszfalt players scored in double figures. Serbian guard Djordje Dimitrijevic (188-1997, college: Mercer) responded with 19 points and 6 rebounds and Lithuanian forward Denis Krestinin (201-1994) scored 9 points and 8 rebounds. OSE Lions' coach Simon Petrov tested eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Duna Aszfalt have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to fourth place. OSE Lions lost third consecutive game. They keep the ninth position with six games lost. Duna Aszfalt will meet Sopron KC (#6) on the road in the next round. OSE Lions will play against ZTE KK in Zalaegerszeg and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
