The game between closely ranked teams ended with 6th ranked Ujbuda BEAC's (6-6) road loss to fifth ranked Szekszard (10-4) 63-92. Szekszard dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Ujbuda BEAC's 20. Szekszard forced 35 Ujbuda BEAC turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Ujbuda BEAC's players. It was a good game for international forward Cyesha Goree (188-1993, college: Michigan) who led her team to a victory with 25 points and 7 rebounds. Swingman Melinda Miklos (184-2003) contributed with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 9 assists and 10 steals for the winners. Croatian center Ana Vojtulek (189) replied with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 10 rebounds and forward Franka Toth (187-2001) added 14 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Ujbuda BEAC. Four Ujbuda BEAC players scored in double figures. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Szekszard moved-up to fourth place. Ujbuda BEAC at the other side keeps the sixth position with six games lost. Szekszard will play against Cegledi (#11) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Ujbuda BEAC will play against the league's second-placed Uni Gyor (#2) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
