Leader Uralmash delivered the twelfth win on Sunday night. This time they beat 15th ranked Lok.Kuban (2-11) 86-72 in Krasnodar. Uralmash dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Lok.Kuban's 28. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. 25 personal fouls committed by Lok.Kuban helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was swingman Kirill Pisklov (192-1996) who scored 22 points, 9 assists and 6 steals. American Namon Wright (196-1994, college: Colorado) chipped in 22 points and 6 rebounds. Wright is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Uralmash players scored in double figures. Forward Kirill Temirov (198-2002) produced 10 points and 7 assists and the former international guard Vladislav Emchenko (195-1999) added 11 points respectively for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Uralmash (12-1) have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They maintain first position. Lok.Kuban lost third consecutive game. They stay at the bottom place with 11 games lost. Uralmash are looking forward to face TSU (#3) in Revda in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Lok.Kuban will play at home against the league's second-placed Runa Basket (#2) and is hoping to prove to their fans that they can break losing series.
