Regular Season Round 15: Rostov - Enisey 60-74

Rather expected game when 10th ranked Rostov (3-12) was defeated at home by seventh ranked Enisey (7-8) 74-60 on Monday. Enisey dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Rostov's 20. It was a great evening for power forward Ekatarina Polyashova-Burova (189-1996, agency: LBM Management) who led her team to a victory scoring 10 points and 7 rebounds. Belarusian center Viktoryia Hasper (192-1988) helped adding 8 points and 9 rebounds. Four Enisey players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was power forward Veronika Pavliuchenko (184-2001, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) with 14 points and 6 rebounds and Belarusian swingman Aryna Masko (179-1999, agency: LBM Management) scored 15 points. Both coaches tested many bench players saving starting five for next games. Enisey moved-up to fifth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Rostov lost their sixth game in a row. They keep the tenth position with 12 games lost. Enisey will meet Samara (#6) on the road in the next round. Rostov will play against Nadezhda (#4) and hope to secure a win.
