An exciting game was played in Larnaca. Third ranked Anorthosis faced 4th placed ENAD. Host Anorthosis (7-4) smashed guests from Nicosia (3-8) 65-35. The game without a history. Anorthosis led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding ENAD to just 6 points in first quarter. Anorthosis held ENAD to an opponent 22.8 percent shooting from the field compared to 42.9 percent accuracy of the winners. Anorthosis forced 20 ENAD turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by ENAD's players. The best player for the winners was the former international forward Tijana Raca (182-1997, college: Wyoming) who scored 25 points and 9 rebounds. Emmelia Georgiou (180-2004) chipped in a double-double by scoring 13 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Forward Athina Papagianni (170-1995) produced 11 points and 8 rebounds and point guard Ioanna Spyridou (170-1997) added 4 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Anorthosis maintains third place with 7-4 record having four points less than leader AEL. ENAD lost third consecutive game. They keep the fourth position with eight games lost. They share it with Youth Stars.
