Regular Season Round 15: TSU - Uralmash 81-89

An interesting game for Uralmash (13-1) which played road game in Revda against 3rd placed TSU (10-3). First ranked Uralmash managed to get a 8-point victory 89-81. 24 personal fouls committed by TSU helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a good game for swingman Kirill Pisklov (192-1996) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. The former international Aleksandr Zakharov (202-1993) contributed with 20 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. The former international forward Denis Levshin (202-1993) answered with 15 points and 5 rebounds and forward Alexandr Lavnikov (205-1991) added 12 points in the effort for TSU. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Uralmash have an impressive series of nine victories in a row. They maintain first place with 13-1 record. TSU at the other side keeps the third position with three games lost. Uralmash are looking forward to face Rusichi K. (#13) in Kursk in the next round which should be an easy win for them. TSU will play at home against Tambov (#11) and is hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.
