Regular Season Round 16: Uralmash - Rusichi K. 109-75

Superleague 1 top team - Uralmash (14-1) had no problems winning another game on Sunday. This time they crushed thirteenth ranked Rusichi K. (3-12) in Yekaterinburg 109-75. Uralmash dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Rusichi K.'s 34. They shot the lights out from three sinking 16 long-distance shots on high 53.3 percentage. Uralmash looked well-organized offensively handing out 37 assists comparing to just 17 passes made by Rusichi K.'s players. Worth to mention a quality performance of the former international Aleksandr Zakharov (202-1993) who helped to win the game recording 35 points (!!!) and 6 assists (on 12-of-15 shooting from the field) and power forward Maxim Krivosheev (207-1988) who added 15 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) during the contest. Five Uralmash players scored in double figures. At the losing side the former international forward Konstantyn Glazyrin (202-1988) responded with 16 points and guard Roman Kazyulin (187-1994) scored 13 points and 4 steals. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Uralmash have an impressive ten-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 14-1 record. Rusichi K. lost fifth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the thirteenth place with 12 games lost. They share the position with CSKA 2. Uralmash are looking forward to face Tambov (#11) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Rusichi K. will play against TSU in Revda and is hoping to prove to their fans that they can break losing series.
