Not a big story in a game in Syktyvkar where 12th ranked Dynamo M. (1-16) was rolled over by seventh ranked Nika (9-8) 85-62 on Sunday. Nika made 31-of-36 free shots (86.1 percent) during the game, while Dynamo M. only scored four points from the stripe. They outrebounded Dynamo M. 39-16 including a 33-12 advantage in defensive rebounds. Nika looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was Canadian center Saicha Grant-Allen (196-1995, college: Dayton) who had a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds. Serbian Nevena Jovanovic (182-1990) chipped in 14 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Belarusian forward Natallia Harbachova (178-1999) produced 15 points and 4 assists and forward Ekaterina Chistyakova (184-1989) added 13 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the guests. Dynamo M.'s coach Aleksey Chirkov gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Nika moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Sparta&K MR. Dynamo M. lost their fourth game in a row. They stay at the bottom position with 16 games lost. Nika will meet Dynamo NR (#9) in the next round. Dynamo M. will play against the league's leader UMMC and hope to win that game.
