The game in Szekszard was also quite interesting. Fourth ranked Miskolc (13-2) played at the court of 5th ranked Szekszard (12-5). Miskolc managed to secure a 5-point victory 71-66 on Sunday. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Szekszard. The winners were led by Puerto Rican-American point guard Arella Guirantes (181-1997, college: Rutgers) who scored that evening 10 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and Australian forward Darcee Garbin (188-1994) supported her with 18 points. Four Miskolc players scored in double figures. Even 18 points and 7 assists by the former international point guard Agnes Studer (169-1998) did not help to save the game for Szekszard. American guard Victoria Vivians (187, college: MSU) added 14 points and 6 rebounds for lost side. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Miskolc have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place. Loser Szekszard keeps the fifth position with five games lost. Miskolc will meet at home league's second-placed Uni Gyor in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Szekszard will play against FCSM Csata in Budapest and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
