Regular Season Round 17: TFSE-MTK - ELTE BEAC 78-59

There was an upset in Budapest where higher ranked Ujbuda BEAC (7-10) was rolled over by tenth ranked TFSE-MTK (5-12) 78-59 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was guard Panka Dul (179-2000) who scored 13 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international swingman Alexandra Theodorean (178-1991) chipped in 10 points and 6 assists. Four TFSE-MTK players scored in double figures. Forward Franka Toth (187-2001) produced a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds and Croatian center Ana Vojtulek (189) added 19 points and 7 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. TFSE-MTK moved-up to ninth place. Ujbuda BEAC at the other side keeps the sixth position with ten games lost. They share it with FCSM Csata. TFSE-MTK will meet league's second-placed Uni Gyor on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Ujbuda BEAC will play against BKG Prima (#10) and hope to secure a win.
