Important game to mention about took place in Vidnoye. Eighth ranked Runa (9-10) saved a 3-point victory on the road edging 6th ranked Sparta&K-2 V (9-10) 60-57 in the game for the sixth place. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Yulia Savukova (177-2006) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds. Forward Eleonora Oleynikova (178-1998) contributed with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Guard Polina Selezeneva (178-2004, agency: LBM Management) answered with 20 points and 4 assists and forward Sofia Liulina (181-2004) added 16 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Sparta&K-2 V. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. The victory was the third consecutive win for Runa. They moved-up to sixth place, which they share with defeated Sparta&K-2 V. Sparta&K-2 V lost their third game in a row. Runa will play against league's second-placed Dynamo-Farm in Kursk in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Sparta&K-2 V will play at home against Dynamo-En.IVA (#10) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
