Leader Massagno delivered the fourteenth victory. This time they crushed 5th ranked Neuchatel (7-8) 99-51. Massagno made 19-of-24 charity shots (79.2 percent) during the game. They also forced 30 Neuchatel turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Neuchatel's players. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Shannon Bogues (190-1997, college: SF Austin) who helped to win the game recording 19 points (perfect from downtown making all five shots). The former international Marko Mladjan (205-1993) contributed with 16 points for the winners. Four Massagno players scored in double figures. Grenadian center Arkim Robertson (208-1994, college: CS Fullerton) replied with 14 points and 8 rebounds and the former international forward Killian Martin (204-1998) added 11 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Neuchatel. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Massagno have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 14-2 record. Neuchatel at the other side keeps the fifth place with eight games lost. Massagno will play against Monthey (#6) at home in the next round where they are favorite. Neuchatel will play against Boncourt and hopes to get back on the winning track.
