E.N. Paralimni (4-12) survived in overtime against Etha (7-8) by nine points 95-86. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Etha. The hosts were ahead by 2 points but lost the second period ending it with a 7-point deficit before their 17-10 run, which allowed them to tie the game at the end of regular time. They were better in overtime eventually winning that period 20-11. E.N. Paralimni dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Etha's 36. They outrebounded Etha 55-34 including a 20-9 advantage in offensive rebounds. American guard Malik Curry (185-1999, college: WVU, agency: Green Sports Management) answered with 29 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and Australian-South Sudanese forward Madut Akec (201-1999, college: Detroit) added 23 points and 15 rebounds in the effort for Etha. E.N. Paralimni maintains tenth place with 4-12 record. Etha at the other side keeps the sixth position with eight games lost. E.N. Paralimni will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Etha will play at home against AEK Larnaca (#3) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
