No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked Khimki-2 (19-13) smashed at home 11th ranked Parma-2 (5-25) 85-62 on Sunday. Khimki-2 dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Parma-2's 32. Khimki-2 forced 22 Parma-2 turnovers and outrebounded them 45-23 including a 18-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Forward Maksim Beloshapko (199-2002) scored 20 points and 5 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and guard Kirill Krylov (197-2002) chipped in 10 points, 9 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals during the contest. Four Khimki-2 players scored in double figures. Guard Arseniy Koryakin (194-2004) responded with 14 points and 7 assists and power forward Danil Plugarev (203-2002) scored 9 points and 7 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Khimki-2 maintains sixth position with 19-13 record. Parma-2 lost twelfth consecutive game. They keep the eleventh place with 25 games lost. Khimki-2 will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game.
