Regular Season Round 27: Lokomotiv-2 - Enisey-2 77-76

Tenth-ranked Enisey-2 (7-25) was very close to win a game against third ranked Lokomotiv-2 (23-9) in Krasnodar on Thursday. Lokomotiv-2 managed to secure only one-point victory 77-76. However their fans expected much easier game. Lokomotiv-2 dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Enisey-2's 26. It was an exceptional evening for center Artem Oreshnikov (205-2004) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds. Guard Daniil Ginko (187-2004) accounted for 15 points and 4 assists for the winning side. Four Lokomotiv-2 players scored in double figures. Lokomotiv-2's coach Bogdan Bogdanov used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Point guard Yaroslav Zaporozhets (183-2002) came up with 29 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists and swingman Aleksandr Gritsenko (195-2004) added 17 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for Enisey-2 in the defeat. Lokomotiv-2 maintains third place with 23-9 record having just three points less than leader MBA-2, which they share with CSKA U23. Enisey-2 lost their sixth game in a row. They keep the tenth position with 25 games lost. Lokomotiv-2 will meet league's second-placed Runa-2 in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Enisey-2 will play against Parma-2 (#11) in Perm and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
