There was an upset when higher ranked Sopron KC (10-10) was defeated at home by thirteenth ranked Szedeak (5-15) 75-71 on Saturday. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Desi Washington (188-1992, college: St.Peter's) who helped to win the game recording 20 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists and the other American import forward Kassim Nicholson (200-1999, college: Tennessee St.) who added 17 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. American forward Juwan Durham (211-1997, college: Notre Dame, agency: Players Group) responded with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds and Canadian guard Yasiin Joseph (186, college: Carleton) scored 4 points and 8 assists. Sopron KC's coach Kostas Flevarakis tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Szedeak moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with Bp. Honved. Sopron KC lost sixth consecutive game. They dropped to the eighth position with ten games lost. They share it with DEAC. Szedeak will meet at home bottom-ranked Hubner NBS (#14) in the next round. Sopron KC will play against Kormend (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
