We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams in Perm where 10th ranked Enisey-2 (7-27) was defeated by eleventh ranked Parma-2 (7-27) 93-86 on Tuesday. Parma-2 dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Enisey-2's 32. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Gleb Firsov fired 21 points and 8 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) for the winners. Guard Grigoriy Tuchkov (183-2003) chipped in 20 points and 7 rebounds. Four Parma-2 players scored in double figures. Parma-2's coach used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Forward Ivan Karasev (196-2004) produced a double-double by scoring 28 points and 13 rebounds (made all of his ten free throws !!!) and point guard Yaroslav Zaporozhets (183-2002) added 31 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for lost side. Parma-2 moved-up to tenth place, which they share with defeated Enisey-2. Enisey-2 lost eighth consecutive game. Parma-2 will meet at home higher ranked CSKA U23 (#4) in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Enisey-2 will play against Khimki-2 (#6) and hope to secure a win.
