Rather predictable result in Nizhny Novgorod where eighth ranked N.Novgorod-2 (18-16) outscored bottom-ranked Samara-2 (2-32) 70-49 on Friday. N.Novgorod-2 dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Samara-2's 28. Guard Vadim Orekhov (197-2002) stepped up and scored 16 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and center Artem Pokrovkov (201-2003) chipped in 15 points and 8 rebounds. Four N.Novgorod-2 players scored in double figures. Vladislav Ionov responded with 15 points and guard Dmitry Kuimov (190-2004) scored 9 points and 6 rebounds.
