An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Moscow. First ranked MBA-2 faced second-ranked Lokomotiv-2. Host MBA-2 (28-7) defeated guests from Krasnodar (25-10) 78-71. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Lokomotiv-2. Lokomotiv-2 was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Guard Yegor Pokinko (185-2002, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) orchestrated the victory by scoring 18 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists. Forward Ivan Zimin (191-2003) contributed with 17 points for the winners. Forward Kirill Temirov (198-2002) answered with 15 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and center Artem Oreshnikov (205-2004) added 16 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Lokomotiv-2. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. MBA-2 maintains first place with 28-7 record. Lokomotiv-2 at the other side keeps the second position with ten games lost. They share it with Runa-2. MBA-2 will again play against league's second-placed Lokomotiv-2 in Krasnodar in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Lokomotiv-2 will have a break next round.
