Superleague 1 round 4 most important game was a victory of Kazanochka over one of their biggest challengers Chevakata 59-56 on Saturday night. Worth to mention a great performance of center Irina Litvinenko (189-1996) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 10 points and 14 rebounds. Guard Alina Novikova (175-1997) contributed with 19 points for the winners. Kazanochka's coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Forward Marina Sheveleva (183-1989) replied with 16 points and 6 rebounds (made all of her eight free throws) and center Ekaterina Terekhova (188-1990) added 7 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for Chevakata. Kazanochka (19-7) moved-up to second place, which they share with MBA-2. Chevakata lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the fourth position with eight games lost. Kazanochka is looking forward to face UMMC Junior (#5) in Yekaterinburg in the next round. Chevakata will play on the road against the league's leader Dynamo-Farm in Kursk and is hoping to prove to their fans that they can break losing series.
