Everything went according to plan in Maykop where third ranked Dynamo-MGTU (18-10) beat bottom-ranked RPF (2-26) 91-77 on Saturday. Dynamo-MGTU dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to RPF's 36. Dynamo-MGTU forced 21 RPF turnovers. The best player for the winners was center Konstantin Kulikov (213-1995, college: UIW) who had a double-double by scoring 22 points and 14 rebounds. Forward Pavel Kryaschenko (199-1998) chipped in 19 points and 6 rebounds. Dynamo-MGTU's coach Andrei Sinielnikov used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Vadim Fedkin (207-2001) who recorded a double-double by scoring 15 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Danil Dergachev (185-1998) added 18 points and 5 assists respectively. Four RPF players scored in double figures. The victory was the third consecutive win for Dynamo-MGTU. They maintain third place with 18-10 record having just sixteen point less than leader Chelbasket. RPF lost their nineteenth game in a row. Newly promoted team stay dead last with 26 lost games.
