Rather predictable result in Moscow where third ranked MBA-2 (20-7) smashed 6th ranked Sparta&K-2 V (13-14) 81-58 on Wednesday. MBA-2 forced 21 Sparta&K-2 V turnovers and outrebounded them 42-27 including 16 on the offensive glass. The best player for the winners was guard Alexandra Eliseeva (170-2005) who had a double-double by scoring 15 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. Center Anastasiia Bobrik (185-2001) chipped in 12 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Four MBA-2 players scored in double figures. Forward Karina Komarova (186-2004) produced 17 points and 6 rebounds and forward Sofia Liulina (181-2004) added 18 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. MBA-2 have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to second place. Loser Sparta&K-2 V keeps the sixth position with 14 games lost. They share it with Spartak SP. MBA-2 will meet Kazanochka (#3) on the road in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Sparta&K-2 V will play against Chevakata in Vologda and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
