There was no surprise in Szeged where 12th ranked Szedeak (5-16) was edged by eighth ranked DEAC (12-10) 86-83 on Saturday. The former international guard Balint Mocsan (190-1997, college: Idaho St.) fired 24 points for the winners. The former international point guard Darrin Govens (185-1988, college: St.Joseph's) chipped in a double-double by scoring 11 points and 12 assists. American guard Desi Washington (188-1992, college: St.Peter's) produced a double-double by scoring 25 points, 8 rebounds and 10 assists and his fellow American import forward Kassim Nicholson (200-1999, college: Tennessee St.) added 14 points and 11 rebounds respectively for lost side.
