No shocking result in a game when eighth ranked UNICS-2 (22-18) beat 10th ranked Parma-2 (7-33) in Kazan 80-65 on Monday. UNICS-2 forced 23 Parma-2 turnovers and outrebounded them 50-31 including a 25-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. Forward Alexander Kalashnikov (196-2002) nailed a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds for the winning side and guard Sergey Polstyanov (194-2002) accounted for 18 points and 7 rebounds. Forward Pavel Morozov (200-2003) came up with 14 points and 5 rebounds and guard Arseniy Koryakin (194-2004) added 9 points and 6 assists respectively for Parma-2 in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. UNICS-2 have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain eighth place with 22-18 record.
