Rather predictable result in Basel where eighth ranked Boncourt (10-16) beat 10th ranked Starwings (7-18) 90-85 on Friday. Boncourt looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Nigerian power forward Martins Igbanu (203-1997, college: Tulsa) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 31 points and 12 rebounds for the winners and naturalized Portuguese forward Kevin Monteiro (195-1994) chipped in 18 points. At the losing side American guard Shawn Williams (185-1998, college: UAPB) responded with 26 points and 5 assists and the former international swingman Vid Milenkovic (194-1995, college: UW-Superior) scored 16 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Boncourt maintains eighth place with 10-16 record. Starwings lost their eighth game in a row.
