Regular Season Round 2: Spartak N. - Chevakata 73-63

We should mention about the upset which took place in Noginsk, where Chevakata lost to Spartak N. in a road game 63-73. Spartak N. made 19-of-21 charity shots (90.5 percent) during the game. Guard Anastasiya Pavlova (178-2003) orchestrated the victory by scoring 22 points, 5 assists and 5 steals. Center Alina Bezborodova (185-2000) contributed with 17 points and 7 rebounds (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) for the winners. Four Spartak N. players scored in double figures. Swingman Eseniya Magzhanova (175-2000) replied with 13 points and 4 assists and center Kristina Kord (184-2001) added 13 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Chevakata. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Spartak N. will play against Novocherkassk on the road in the next round. Chevakata will play against Kazanochka to get more than just one victory in their record.
